Job Description

This position is based on-site in Dubai or Riyadh. You will play a key role in shaping and executing Uber's Autonomous Vehicle (AV) fleet operations strategy to support the deployment of AVs in a new market. Collaborate with AV developers, fleet operators, infrastructure partners, and real estate stakeholders to optimize asset utilization and vehicle uptime, contributing to fleet economics.

You will support the development and execution of Uber's AV fleet operations strategy in your market. The ideal candidate is hands-on, with strong technical skills, stakeholder management, and an entrepreneurial spirit. You thrive in ambiguity, enjoy building processes from scratch, and are passionate about scaling operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Drive AV deployment in the Middle East by implementing innovative operational solutions for regional challenges.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to maximize vehicle uptime and operational efficiency to meet performance goals.
  • Manage escalations and resolve operational issues with fleet partners.
  • Support partners in vehicle servicing, infrastructure, and logistics challenges.
  • Build strategic partnerships to support fleet growth and operational success.
  • Align with cross-functional teams on dependencies, budgeting, KPIs, and market performance.
  • Use data to identify trends and develop actionable operational plans.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of AV Operations experience
  • 5 years of experience in Operations, Program Management, or related fields
  • Experience launching AV Operations in new or existing markets
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, ambiguous environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering or technical background
  • Excellent stakeholder management and project execution skills
  • Understanding of operational levers and unit economics
  • Initiative-taking and effective prioritization skills
