Job summary

TeamPeople is seeking a technical owner for one all-hands event space and one production studio, based onsite at our Dubai office. You will work with internal stakeholders to deliver professional events and production services, configuring and operating a range of AV broadcast equipment.

You will test, troubleshoot, rehearse, and support staff, manage crew, provide post-event reports, and adapt to fast-changing environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting broadcast level productions including livestreams and live event productions.
  • Familiarity with broadcast workflows and production switchers.

Job description

Our client is looking for someone to be the technical owner of 1 all-hands event space and 1 production studio. This role is full time onsite at our client's Dubai office space.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work alongside internal business stakeholders to deliver professional events and production services for our team.
  • Have the ability to configure, test, operate, and troubleshoot a wide range of AV broadcast equipment.
  • Attend event production meetings and participate in technical rehearsals as requested.
  • Follow internal documentation and adhere to operational standards and production workflows.
  • Manage flex crew and support staff for large productions.
  • Deliver post event documentation for internal reporting and metrics.
  • Participate in team meetings when requested.
  • Have the capacity to work on after hours events when requested
Skills & Qualifications
  • Support all internal events, livestreams, studio productions and recordings.
  • Confidently monitor audio, video, livestream, and recording quality during all event productions.
  • Operate Yamaha digital audio consoles to a professional standard including correct gain staging, patching, routing, monitor mixing and recording to broadcast standards.
  • Operate Ross and Blackmagic video switchers including hardware video matrices and soft patching.
  • Operate Crestron based control systems via Crestron UI touch panels and web interfaces.
  • Operate Shure wireless microphone systems including ULXD transmitters, receivers and IEM's.
  • Operate zoned wireless comms systems and talkback.
  • Be comfortable with mic dressing and giving technical advice to talent on stage.
  • Collaborate closely with producers, crew members, studio staff, and cross-functional teams during productions.
  • Manage audio visual equipment inventory and follow established processes for vendor servicing and RMA.
  • Provide white-glove level of professional support during executive-facing and high-visibility events.
  • Be a clear communicator and have the ability to manage technical productions from the floor.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in changing production environments.
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a small production crew.
Education & Experience
  • Experience supporting broadcast level productions including livestreams, studio recordings and live event productions.
  • Familiarity with production switchers, audio consoles, graphics/playback systems, and livestream workflows.
  • Experience with streaming and VC platforms such as TikTok Live, OBS, vMix, Zoom, Teams, or similar broadcast/live production tools.
  • Experience with audio/video editing software such as Pro Tools, Davinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience working in a global tech environment.
