Job summary

VAP Group in Dubai is seeking a talented Videographer/Video Editor to join our Marketing / Events team. You will produce high-quality video content for global events, both on-site and remotely, handling production and post-production.

The role requires creativity, the ability to manage multi-camera shoots, live streaming, color grading, and delivering content tailored for social platforms within tight timelines. Occasional travel and support across multiple regions are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional videography and editing experience, preferably at events.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating on-site filming and post-production.
• Experience with international or large-scale events preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film/Media Production (or related) preferred.
• Proficiency with professional cameras (Sony, Canon, RED) and lenses.
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop.
• Experience with drone operation and UAE drone regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and capture high-quality footage at global events, conferences, exhibitions, and corporate functions, including travel.
• Operate professional cameras, drones, gimbals, lighting, and audio equipment for cinematic, broadcast-quality content.
• Capture keynote sessions, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, event highlights, and promotional material.
• Set up and manage multi-camera shoots, live streaming setups, and on-site recording equipment.
• Collaborate with event organizers and marketing teams to understand shot lists and briefs.
• Ensure technical standards for framing, lighting, audio, and continuity are met.
• Edit footage into event recaps, social clips, promos; apply color grading and sound design.
• Deliver content optimized for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and websites; meet tight deadlines.
• Organize and archive raw footage and project files; maintain equipment and stay current with trends.

Key Responsibilities

Videography

• Plan, shoot, and capture high‑quality video footage at global events, conferences, exhibitions, and corporate functions, both in Dubai and internationally (travel required).
• Operate professional cameras, drones, gimbals, lighting, and audio equipment to produce cinematic, broadcast‑quality content.
• Capture a range of content types including keynote sessions, interviews, behind‑the‑scenes footage, event highlights, and promotional material.
• Set up and manage multi‑camera shoots, live streaming setups, and on‑site recording equipment.
• Collaborate with event organizers, marketing teams, and stakeholders to understand shot lists, storyboards, and creative briefs.
• Ensure all technical aspects (framing, lighting, audio, continuity) meet professional production standards.

Video Editing & Post‑Production

• Edit raw footage into polished final products, including event recap videos, social media clips, sizzle reels, testimonials, and promotional videos.
• Apply color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and titling to enhance production value.
• Deliver content optimized for multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, corporate websites) within tight turnaround times, including same‑day event highlights where required.
• Organize and archive raw footage, project files, and final deliverables in an efficient media management system.
• Ensure brand consistency across all video content in line with company/event guidelines.
• Manage and maintain video equipment, ensuring it is event‑ready at all times.
• Stay current with industry trends, editing software, and emerging video technologies (e.g., AI editing tools, drone regulations, new formats).
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel, to align with global event schedules.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing, design, and event production teams to ensure video content supports broader campaign goals.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in videography and video editing, ideally within events, media production, or corporate communications.
• Proven portfolio/reel demonstrating both filming and editing capabilities, particularly for live events.
• Experience working on international or large‑scale events is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media Production, Broadcasting, or related field (preferred but not mandatory with strong portfolio).
• Proficiency with professional camera systems (Sony, Canon, RED, or similar) and associated lenses.
• Strong command of editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop.
• Experience with drone operation (UAE drone license a plus) and gimbal/stabilizer systems.
• Knowledge of live streaming setups and multi‑cam production workflows.
• Understanding of audio recording and basic sound design.
