Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an on-road safety operator for autonomous delivery vehicles in the UAE. The role involves monitoring vehicle behaviour, intervening when necessary, and ensuring safe operations across indoor and outdoor settings.

Responsibilities include supervising vehicles per SOPs and traffic laws, conducting inspections, reporting incidents, and coordinating with dispatch and engineering teams. Night shifts and flexible indoor/outdoor duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of driving experience in the UAE with a valid UAE driving license and cleanrecord
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Must be willing and able to work night shifts, rotating schedules, weekends, and public holidays
• Must be flexible to take on both indoor and outdoor operational roles based on business needs
• Basic proficiency using smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications
• Strong safety awareness with excellent attention to detail; calm and decisive under pressure

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise autonomous delivery vehicles per company SOPs and UAE traffic laws
• Monitor vehicle performance in real time; take manual control when needed to maintain safety
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; verify cleanliness, functionality, and deployment readiness
• Report incidents, near misses, vehicle faults, and operational anomalies promptly and accurately
• Support vehicle deployment, retrieval, charging, and routine maintenance activities
• Document operations and coordinate with dispatch, engineering, and remote operations teams
• Perform both indoor duties (monitoring, reporting, remote ops support) and outdoor duties (field deployment, on-road supervision, vehicle inspection) as assigned by management
