Automotive Training Executive | Al Futtaim Automotive Academy

Al-Futtaim is the largest distributor of automotive products in the Emirates and leads the development of the automobile business in the UAE. We represent brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Chrysler, Dodge, Volvo, and Jeep, along with Hino Commercial vehicles.

We are establishing a new, state-of-the-art Automotive Training Academy to develop Emirati automotive professionals. The academy aims to support growth across all sectors of the automotive group by providing comprehensive training programs.

We are seeking a talented Automotive Trainer to join our team of Soft Skills Trainers. The role involves delivering training programs for sales, non-technical after-sales, and customer-facing roles, aligned with brand standards. The trainer will report to the Sales and After Sales Development Manager.

The responsibilities include developing and implementing blended learning approaches, conducting needs analysis, program development, and measuring impact. The trainer will collaborate with stakeholders to identify development needs and create impactful, business-relevant training solutions.

The main duties are:

  1. Design and deliver engaging development programs adhering to quality standards.
  2. Create positive, energetic, and memorable learning environments.
  3. Continuously assess and improve training content and delivery.
  4. Coordinate and monitor distributor training activities.

To succeed, candidates should have:

  • Experience and understanding of the automotive sector, including sales and after-sales roles.

Technical skills include facilitation, coaching, influencing, rapport building, needs analysis, evaluation, and courseware design. Core competencies include enthusiasm, client focus, communication, problem-solving, drive for improvement, teamwork, business awareness, and planning skills.
