Job Description

  • Specialize in drive systems such as engine, transmission, all-wheel drive, chassis, and electronic comfort and security systems.
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs independently, utilizing specialist system knowledge.
  • Perform complex repairs, assembly, and adjustment work, including parameterization and software updates, on all basic systems within your specialist area.
  • Recognize when diagnostics are inefficient and initiate necessary steps.
  • Employ all workshop information systems (e.g., PIWIS, PQIS, PET, Guided Fault Finding) for efficient diagnostics and repairs.
  • Instruct Service Technicians on defined repair and maintenance work, supervising quality and safety.
  • Support Service Advisors in diagnostic discussions for complex cases or vehicle acceptance.
  • Conduct direct order clarification and vehicle acceptance discussions with customers in complex cases, alongside Service Advisors and Diagnostic Specialists.
  • Utilize Porsche or dealer-provided tools such as Telephone systems, Customer Database, Porsche Partner Network (PPN), Corporate Porsche Academy site (CPA), PQIS, PIWIS, PET, and others.
  • Ensure the facility is clean and tidy, with all tools in working order and available to meet Porsche guidelines.
  • Plan and support activities in agreement with other dealership colleagues and managers.
  • Work according to Porsche standards.
  • Submit activity or customer tracking reports to dealer management as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Degree in Automotive Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar position; Porsche Silver Technician or similar qualification from a different brand is preferred.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential.
  • Software: Computer literate.
