The Automotive Service Advisor in the Cash Department is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth operations in the service department, and achieving sales targets. This role involves direct interaction with customers, managing service requests, processing payments, and promoting service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly and courteously upon their arrival.
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service needs.
Provide detailed explanations of required vehicle services and repairs.
Ensure customers are informed about the status and progress of their vehicle service.
Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with technicians and parts to ensure timely service delivery.
Promote and sell additional services to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
Provide customers with service recommendations based on vehicle inspection results.
Achieve or exceed monthly sales and performance targets set by the management.
Provide clear and concise service estimates and invoices to customers.
Facilitate effective communication between customers and service technicians.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional automotive service training or certification is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience as an automotive service advisor or in a related 3 to 4 years service Advisor role is preferred.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to automotive service management.
