Job Description:

The Automotive Sales Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the sales operations of a dealership or automotive group, ensuring revenue targets and customer satisfaction goals are consistently met. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing a team of sales consultants, and building strong relationships with clients and manufacturers. Working in the competitive UAE automotive market, the manager must stay informed on industry trends, pricing strategies, and compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Managing daily operations of the automotive sales department, including staffing, training, and performance evaluation.
  2. Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  3. Analyzing market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to guide decision-making and promotional planning.
  4. Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the procurement team to ensure availability of key vehicle models.
  5. Coaching and mentoring sales staff to enhance performance, customer handling, and closing techniques.
  6. Ensuring exceptional customer service standards and resolving escalated client issues professionally.
  7. Collaborating with the marketing team to drive showroom traffic and generate quality leads.
  8. Ensuring all sales transactions and documentation comply with UAE automotive industry regulations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; automotive industry certifications are a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role in the UAE.
  3. Strong knowledge of automotive sales cycles, customer behavior, and dealership operations.
  4. Familiarity with CRM systems, DMS platforms, and digital lead management tools.
  5. Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage high-performing sales teams.
  6. Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  7. Strong understanding of the UAE automotive market and local regulatory environment.
  8. Valid UAE driving license.
