Job summary

Al Futtaim Private Company (LLC) is seeking a Quality Controller for its automotive Aftersales and refurbishment division in the UAE. You will perform quality inspections on vehicles after refurbishment, ensuring repairs meet high standards and identifying any concerns before release.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years of experience, and strong technical knowledge of body repair and paint.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Controller within a reputable automotive dealership.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle body repair, paint, and refurbishment.
• Experience conducting quality inspections and identifying repair or workmanship concerns.
• Ability to guide workshop teams on quality improvement.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on vehicles following refurbishment body repair and paint work.
• Ensure completed repairs meet established quality and workmanship standards.
• Identify quality concerns before vehicles are released.
• Analyze repeat repair cases and recommend appropriate quality improvement measures.
• Support painters, panel beaters, technicians and supervisors in improving workmanship standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection and repeat repair analysis reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
• Maintain a strong focus on achieving quality inspection targets and operational requirements.
• Identify workmanship issues and recommend corrective measures.
• Proactive approach to addressing repeat repair concerns.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, multicultural workshop environment.
