Automotive Polisher

The Automotive Polisher is responsible for performing professional polishing and detailing work on vehicles to restore and enhance paint finish and overall appearance. This role involves using specialized tools, compounds, and techniques to remove surface imperfections, scratches, and oxidation. The Automotive Polisher ensures high-quality standards in vehicle presentation while complying with UAE safety and environmental regulations in automotive workshops.

Responsibilities:

1. Performing polishing and buffing tasks on vehicles using appropriate tools, pads, and polishing compounds.
2. Inspecting vehicle surfaces before and after polishing to identify defects and ensure flawless finish.
3. Removing swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and oxidation to restore original paint clarity.
4. Applying protective coatings such as wax, sealants, or ceramic coatings as required.
5. Preparing vehicles for delivery or showroom display by ensuring a clean and glossy exterior finish.
6. Maintaining polishing equipment and ensuring all tools are cleaned and stored properly after use.
7. Following safety guidelines and environmental protocols in handling chemicals and waste materials.
8. Collaborating with painters, detailers, and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive detailing or paint care is a plus.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive polishing or detailing within the UAE or GCC.
3. Strong knowledge of polishing techniques, tools, materials, and surface preparation methods.
4. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering superior finish and customer satisfaction.
5. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment.
6. Understanding of UAE safety standards related to automotive maintenance and chemical use.
7. Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion.
8. Basic communication skills; English language proficiency is preferred.
