Job description

The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Maintenance and Repair:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.
  Diagnostic and Troubleshooting:
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Analyze diagnostic data and perform necessary repairs to resolve problems efficiently.
  Quality Control:
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to verify the effectiveness of repairs and maintenance.
• Customer Service:
• Communicate clearly and effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair plans, and maintenance recommendations.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  Record Keeping:
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
• Document diagnostic findings, repairs made, and parts used.
  Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other technicians, service advisors, and management to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and automotive repair equipment. Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
• Licenses: Valid UAE drivers license is a plus
• Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
