Al-Futtaim Automotive in Dubai seeks an experienced Materials Management Operations Manager to lead strategic inventory planning across the Automotive Division. You will optimize stock levels, collaborate with OEMs, manage a team of planners, and drive continuous improvement to ensure high service levels.

The role emphasizes governance, system enhancement, and aligning procurement with business objectives, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to minimize backorders and aging stock.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Inventory operations.
• Experience managing a team for 1–2 years, with automotive parts knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in inventory management processes and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• OEM/Vendor Management: coordinate OEM programs and monitor supplier performance.
• Order Planning & Replenishment Governance: approve proposals ensuring optimal planning and placement.
• Inventory Management: balanced stock levels; reduce ageing stock and excess.
• Network Stock Management: optimize stock health at branch level; minimize downtime.
• Proactive Inventory Monitoring & Optimization: monitor performance; drive improvements.
• Operational Excellence and Team Leadership: coach planners; ensure SOP/compliance.
