Job description

  • Assist Technician Mechanics in performing technical activities.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle components to manufacturer specifications, including brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical systems, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
  • Use testing equipment connected to the vehicle’s electronic control unit (ECU) to identify problems.
  • Clearly explain technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers, as required.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast of rapidly changing automotive technology.
  • Test existing and repaired systems for proper performance.
  • Assess the amount of work needed on vehicles and communicate findings to the Service Advisor.
  • Liaise with manufacturers and Parts Advisors. Conduct quality checks and road tests as necessary.
  • Identify any additional repairs not specified in the job card and inform the Service Advisor.
  • Assist in the maintenance of workshop equipment.
  • Provide support to colleagues facing difficulties in their tasks. Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
  • Report any technical problems to the Workshop Supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Brand Diagnostics certification.
  • Minimum of 3–4 years of work experience in a similar position.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
