Assist Technician Mechanics in performing technical activities.
Diagnose and repair vehicle components to manufacturer specifications, including brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical systems, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
Use testing equipment connected to the vehicle’s electronic control unit (ECU) to identify problems.
Clearly explain technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers, as required.
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast of rapidly changing automotive technology.
Test existing and repaired systems for proper performance.
Assess the amount of work needed on vehicles and communicate findings to the Service Advisor.
Liaise with manufacturers and Parts Advisors. Conduct quality checks and road tests as necessary.
Identify any additional repairs not specified in the job card and inform the Service Advisor.
Assist in the maintenance of workshop equipment.
Provide support to colleagues facing difficulties in their tasks. Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
Report any technical problems to the Workshop Supervisor.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Brand Diagnostics certification.
Minimum of 3–4 years of work experience in a similar position.
Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
