Job summary

Ali & Sons invites applications for a Diagnostic Technician to join our Fujairah workshop. You will diagnose complex electrical, electronic, networking, and vehicle system faults, supported by advanced diagnostic tools, and report findings clearly to customers and service teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Automotive Mechanics with a Master Technician certification and 2–3 years of hands-on diagnostic experience, plus a UAE driving license.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of diagnostic experience in automotive workshop.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and workshop systems.
• Valid UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, electronic, networking, and vehicle system faults using diagnostic tools.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, review history, and perform fault-finding to identify root causes.
• Verify customer complaints and provide clear diagnostic findings and repair recommendations.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Parts Advisors, Team Leaders, and Workshop Controllers to arrange required repairs and parts.
• Stay updated on technical bulletins, new technologies, and campaigns.
• Ensure warranty procedures are followed and prepare technical reports.
• Identify and report vehicle quality issues and support campaign requirements.
• Maintain tools, company assets, and a clean, organized work area.
• Follow SOPs and health & safety requirements.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge through training.
