Job summary

Apt Resources is seeking a knowledgeable Irrigation Technician to join our client’s team in Liwa-Asab, Abu Dhabi. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated irrigation systems to optimize water use and crop productivity on farms.

The role requires hands-on skills with drip, sprinkler, and center pivot systems, plus electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, field training for farm staff, and strict adherence to UAE environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in irrigation technology within agriculture.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and water management.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical irrigation issues.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure automated irrigation systems according to specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance and timely repairs.
• Monitor soil moisture and adjust schedules.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and implement fixes.
• Educate farmers on proper use and maintenance.
• Maintain records of configurations and repairs.
