Job summary

Al Tayer Group in Dubai seeks an experienced AutoCAD Drafter to produce drawings from project briefs and transform concepts into working documents. You will prepare plans, sections, details and schedules, incorporating client adjustments to secure approvals.

You will survey sites for as-built drawings, verify accuracy for timely execution, and coordinate with architects, project managers and quantity surveyors to clarify design information throughout project development.

Qualifications

Diploma in Architecture required.
3–5 years of AutoCAD experience in construction or interior fit-out projects.
Ability to interpret design briefs and produce accurate drawings.

Responsibilities

Prepare all AutoCAD plans, sections, details specifications and schedules on time given by the principal/client/consultant during the project brief.
Incorporate changes suggested by client/consultant to ensure approval.
Survey site and prepare as-built drawings; ensure accuracy for timely execution.
Liaise with Architects/Project Managers and quantity surveyors to clarify information in design documents.
Follow established computer protocols and coordinate with team for consistent drawing layout and presentation.
Check all deliverables for accuracy and compliance with requirements, including variations and amendments.
