Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking an Autonomous AutoCAD Draftsman to prepare detailed drawings and schedules from project briefs in the UAE. The role involves surveying sites, producing accurate as‑built drawings, and coordinating with Architects, Project Managers and quantity surveyors to ensure the design intent is clearly conveyed and compliant.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Architecture is required.
• 3–5 years of experience operating AutoCAD, preferably in construction or interior fit-out projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all AutoCAD plans, sections, details, specifications and schedules on time as per project brief.
• Survey site and prepare as-built drawings, ensuring accuracy for timely execution.
• Liaise with Architects/Project Managers and quantity surveyors to clarify design information.
• Follow established computer protocols, formats and coordinate with team for consistent drawing layout and presentation.
• Check deliverables for accuracy and alignment with requirements including variations.
• Review sketches and specifications from client/in-house architect and develop drawings from concept to working drawings.
