Job description

The AutoCAD Draftsman (Civil) is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and layouts for swimming pools, water features, and associated civil works. The draftsman will ensure accurate representation of structural and architectural components in line with project specifications and authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drafting & Design:
   • Prepare detailed 2D drawings for structural layouts, pool shells, concrete works, and architectural finishes.
   • Generate shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings for civil works.
   • Modify drawings based on site feedback, engineer instructions, and consultant comments.
   • Coordinate with civil engineers, MEP draftsmen, and site supervisors for drawing updates.
   • Ensure integration of civil drawings with MEP and architectural layouts.
   • Support the estimation team with quantity take-offs and sectional details.
2. Documentation & Submissions:
   • Maintain drawing logs and proper documentation of revisions.
   • Prepare drawings for authority approvals (ADM/ADQCC) and site inspections.
   • Submit accurate and detailed as-built drawings at project closeout.
3. Standards & Quality:
   • Ensure that all drawings follow company CAD standards and layering conventions.
   • Apply technical knowledge of civil construction, waterproofing, reinforcement detailing, and pool finishes in drawings.
   • Review and cross-check dimensions and levels to minimize errors.
