Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

We are hiring an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman with a construction background and a solid portfolio of Gulf countries (GCC) projects. The ideal candidate must be currently based in the UAE and possess in-depth drafting knowledge across multiple disciplines, including:

• Interior Design
• Fit-out Works
• Landscape
• Mechanical (HVAC/MEP)
• Joinery & Carpentry
• Architectural Drafting
• Plumbing
• Prepare detailed and accurate 2D CAD drawings for construction and site execution.
• Draft shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings as per project requirements.
• Interpret architectural/engineering sketches and convert them into technical drawings.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and site teams for drawing approvals and revisions.
• Ensure compliance with GCC construction standards and local authority regulations (DM, ADM, DDA, etc.).
• Maintain drawing logs, document control, and version tracking.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil/Architectural/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years drafting experience in the construction industry (Gulf experience mandatory).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (3D is a plus); knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or BIM tools is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction site processes, fit-out detailing, and MEP/architectural coordination.
• Experience working on residential, commercial, high-rise, hospitality, or infrastructure projects in the GCC.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and coordination skills.
