Job summary

Express Insulating Materials Company LLC SPC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a 2D AutoCAD Draftsman to join our office team. You will prepare 2D shop drawings, waterproofing details and as-built drawings in AutoCAD, and revise drawings per consultant and client comments.

The role requires 2–4 years of AutoCAD drafting experience, strong 2D AutoCAD skills, and the ability to read architectural and structural drawings. Basic Excel and UAE residence are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of AutoCAD drafting experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong 2D AutoCAD skills (3D not required).
• Able to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Basic Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Currently in the UAE and able to join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D shop drawings, waterproofing details and as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
• Revise drawings based on consultant and client comments.

• Prepare marked-up drawings to support payment applications.

We are a waterproofing and concrete repair contractor based in Abu Dhabi, looking for a 2D AutoCAD Draftsman to join our office team.

• Prepare 2D shop drawings, waterproofing details and as-built drawings in AutoCAD

• Revise drawings based on consultant and client comments

• Measure areas and quantities from drawings (quantity take-off)

• Prepare marked-up drawings to support payment applications

• Keep drawing files and revisions organised

• Support the engineering team with other office tasks when drafting work is light

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short practical AutoCAD test at our Abu Dhabi office.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience as an AutoCAD draftsman, preferably in construction

• Strong 2D AutoCAD skills (3D is not required)

• Able to read architectural and structural drawings

• Basic Microsoft Excel

• Diploma in civil engineering, draughtsmanship or a related field

• Currently in the UAE and able to join immediately
