Job description

Position Summary

Perform day-to-day activities within the function and carry out AUT.

Duties And Responsibilities

Functions

• Trained and examined as an ASNT and/or CSWIP AUT Operator and Interpreter, holding current certification.
• Experience with PipeWizard Phased Array AUT system (Olympus PIPEWIZARD V4) and trained in its setup, use, and maintenance.
• Ensure all AUT equipment is suitable and operational during the project.
• Maintain AUT systems.
• Ensure work is performed expeditiously and in accordance with procedures.
• Report relevant data clearly and accurately; make daily electronic backups.
• Conduct daily reporting and administration, including timesheets and work records.
• Maintain logs of component changes and repairs to AUT equipment.
• Brief personnel teams, conduct toolbox talks, and perform equipment inspections.
• Liaise with clients.
• Address clients’ technical and administrative requirements promptly and efficiently.
• Report to Project Manager on current activities.

Safety

Ensure understanding and adherence to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Other

Work in accordance with the Company’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems.

Perform tasks with due diligence regarding the Company’s Integrated Management Systems.

Eliminate waste, suggest environmentally friendly practices, and contribute to environmental improvement.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise daily activities within the function and carry out AUT.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• PCN or ASNT qualified in UT (E)
• CSWIP or ASNT qualified in PA AUT (E)
• At least 2 years experience with automated systems (E)
• Experience with onshore pipeline NDT (E)
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Email
• Familiar with Pipewizard, UT systems
• Knowledge of calibration periods for NDT equipment
• Competent in using equipment on automated systems
