Audit Job Overview

Within your area of expertise, undertake business assurance assessments in accordance with current procedures and agreed timescales.

  • Lead assessment teams effectively, ensuring the visit is completed within the agreed timescales, and coordinate team findings to reach conclusions.
  • Produce high-quality assessment reports reflecting business assurance principles, in compliance with accreditation requirements and internal procedures.
  • Keep all internal client stakeholders informed of changes and issues, escalating as appropriate.
  • Pass opportunities and sales leads to appropriate colleagues for follow-up.
  • Share client feedback and insights with relevant internal teams.
  • Maintain professional competence by staying updated on technical developments, maintaining CPD records, updating CVs, and maintaining professional registrations.
  • Build strong client and internal relationships.
  • Participate fully in assessor meetings.

A lead verifier manages verification projects from start to finish, interacting directly with clients to communicate data and findings. They uphold LRQA’s standards and ensure clients meet specific reporting criteria.

The successful candidate will lead verifications for clients worldwide, involving travel mainly within MEA and occasionally abroad.

Job Requirements

The requirements of this position are :

  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Qualified to perform certification audits for ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and ISO 9001
  • Knowledge of greenhouse gas emissions and sustainability data reporting schemes
  • Completed ISO training courses
  • Experience supporting GHG verification projects with IAF-recognized Certification Bodies
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, with high professional standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to represent LRQA credibly at senior industry levels
  • Reside in the UAE, near major commuting routes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the oil and gas sector
  • Data analytics skills using Excel or similar tools
