Job Brief:
Shuraa is currently hiring for its vertical Shuraa Tax and Accounting. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced auditor to join our growing audit team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising audit engagements for a diverse range of clients. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to manage teams and client relationships effectively. Your mission will be to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records, provide insightful recommendations, and help drive financial process improvements and compliance with international standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute external audit engagements in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, delegating tasks and reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with clients to understand their business models, financial practices, and compliance needs.
- Analyze financial statements and identify areas of risk, fraud, or misstatement.
- Ensure adherence to IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory frameworks in all audit work.
- Prepare and review final audit reports and communicate findings to clients in a clear and constructive manner.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement audit findings and process improvements.
- Assist in the preparation and/or review of financial statements and management reports.
- Conduct financial reviews and tax return verifications.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery and advisory support.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- CA certified (mandatory); ACCA certification or partial qualification may be considered.
- 3–5 years of proven audit experience, preferably within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in managing audit teams and client portfolios.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational capability.
- Strong project management and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
