Audit Associate / Senior Associate / Manager ADCOOP

Mair Group is a young, high-growth strategic investment group focusing on food security, retail, and real estate. It was founded through the consolidation of historic retail cooperatives of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Al Dhafra, and Delma. The group also includes Makani, a real estate company specializing in development and management of regional and community malls. Listed on ADX in December 2024, the group maintains majority Emirati family shareholding.

Mair Group has a strategic partnership to provide finance and audit services to Al Dhafra Technical Services, based in the Western Region.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking an Audit Associate / Senior Associate / Manager to:

  1. Execute and support audits across all divisions (Al Wara, Oil & Gas, Transport & Logistics, and Fish & Marine) to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, financial reporting, and operational processes.
  2. Ensure that the audit plan addresses the ongoing unification of ERP systems and evaluates financial processes.
  3. Identify risks within the organization’s financial processes and operational controls, providing recommendations for risk mitigation and process improvements.
  4. Conduct audits focusing on high-risk areas, such as financial data integrity during the ERP system transition.
  5. Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits to ensure alignment with internal audits and compliance standards.
  6. Provide relevant audit documentation, findings, and support to external auditors for seamless integration of internal and external audit processes.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation, ensuring all audit evidence and conclusions are well-supported and compliant with regulatory standards.
