Job Description

The Canadian University Dubai invites applications for an AV Systems &
Content Specialist
to join our Marketing & Communication Department in Dubai. In this full-time, on-site role, you'll take the lead
on installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting AV screens and systems across the organization. From LED walls and smart displays to
CMS-managed digital content, you'll ensure everything looks and sounds flawless.

You'll be the go-to expert for AV integration and
content delivery, ensuring that our digital communication is technically sharp and on-brand. You'll also support university events, train
users, and keep things running smoothly behind the screens.

Here's what you'll own

  • Installing and
    configuring LED/LCD screens, projectors, and control systems
  • Calibrating displays and running functionality checks
  • Managing digital signage content using CMS tools - from upload to expiry
  • Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting
    hardware/software issues
  • Supporting live events and training staff on AV use and minor fixes
  • Documenting installations,
    wiring diagrams, and content schedules
  • Ensuring safety and compliance across all AV operations
You're probably a
match if you have
  • A technical diploma or certification in Electronics, IT, or AV systems (Bachelor's preferred)
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience with AV installation, maintenance, and content scheduling
  • Comfort with CMS platforms for
    digital signage and basic IP networking
  • A knack for troubleshooting and solving AV issues on the fly
  • Physically able to
    handle screen mounting and cabling tasks
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Bonus points if you're
certified in
  • AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
  • Crestron / Extron / AMX system integration
  • OSHA
    or similar safety standards
  • Basic networking (like CompTIA Network+)
