Audio/Video Technician

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Independently set up, install, operate, and maintain live and exhibition installations, such as multi-channel video screening, sound systems, lighting systems, and simultaneous interpretation systems.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain audio-visual systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with other team members to organize work efficiently and deliver high quality results.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electronics & Communication Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in audio-visual technology.
  • Strong knowledge of A/V technologies including sound systems, stage lighting, dimmers, mixers, and video display technologies.
  • Good understanding of projectors, media players, screens, speakers, microphones, sound and lighting consoles, processors, and related accessories.
  • Familiarity with player software, media servers, lighting control dimmers, and motor control systems to perform different exhibitions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Physically fit and flexible to work long shifts and overnight as needed.
