Amazon Payment Services (APS) is looking for a Compliance Manager to join their Dubai-based Compliance team and provide compliance subject-matter expertise and oversight of payment products in the UAE. This position requires 3-5 years of experience in banks, payment service providers or fintech, ideally in the UAE and a Law or business degree (ideally at Masters level). The Compliance Manager will be responsible for tracking and devising plans and strategies to comply with upcoming regulation, monitoring 1st line compliance programs, providing effective, timely and pragmatic advice on compliance matters to the business and working with legal, risk and business leads to develop and maintain our compliance policies and controls.

Job Responsibilities

• Track and devise plans and strategies to comply with upcoming regulation.

• Provide effective, timely and pragmatic advice on compliance matters to the business on how to manage conduct and compliance risks within payments propositions.
• Interpret and advise on applicable UAE regulations.

• Ensure that APS is exam-ready and collaborate in the preparation of regulatory submissions in the context of regulatory exams and other regulatory engagements.
