Job summary

A reputable organization in the UAE is seeking a skilled technician to support air navigation services. The role involves performing maintenance tasks, keeping accurate records, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should have a diploma in Electronics, relevant certifications, and 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within an ATC environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in a similar role with apprenticeship in either CNS or ATM or MET systems.
• Experience of working in an ATC environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform the assigned tasks and update the Engineering Task Database to ensure it accurately reflects the status of the work completed.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance of the air navigation services (CNS/ATM/MET systems) as per the annual maintenance plan.
• Address ad-hoc requirements for maintenance of air navigation services (CNS/ATM/MET systems).
• Inform the Airside Engineer of the task completion to ensure necessary checks are carried out before handover to operations.
• Complete and file the related documentation to ensure records are maintained as per the standard operating procedure.
• Identify and escalate challenges and issues that may hinder the task completion in a timely manner.
• Adhere to OHS guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Stay up to date with the latest applicable regulations and SOPs to ensure compliance.
• Perform any additional responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge in relation to safety responsibilities associated with the job function.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma in Electronicsor equivalent

Professional Certifications:

• ATSEP basic and equipment preferred

Experience:
