Job summary

A position is available for an air navigation services maintenance role, focusing on executing scheduled maintenance and supporting compliance with operational guidelines. The successful candidate should possess a diploma in Electronics, relevant certifications, and around 5 years of experience in related systems. Strong proficiency in English is required, with knowledge of Arabic preferred. This role involves various responsibilities to ensure the safety and effectiveness of air traffic control operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent.
• ATSEP basic and equipment preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role with apprenticeship in either CNS, ATM, or MET systems.
• Experience of working in an ATC environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform the assigned tasks and update the Engineering Task Database to ensure it accurately reflects the status of the work completed.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance of the air navigation services (CNS / ATM / MET systems) as per the annual maintenance plan.
• Address ad-hoc requirements for maintenance of air navigation services (CNS / ATM / MET systems) that may arise from time to time.
• Inform the Airside Engineer of the task completion to ensure necessary checks are carried out before handover to operations.
• Complete and file the related documentation to ensure records are maintained as per the standard operating procedure.
• Identify and escalate challenges and issues that may hinder the task completion in a timely manner.
• Adhere to OHS guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest applicable regulations and SOPs.
• Perform any additional responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain awareness of their safety responsibilities as detailed in the Safety Management Manual.

Educational Qualification :

• Diploma in Electronicsor equivalent
