Asst. Housing Manager - Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers

An Assistant Housing Manager is concerned in assisting in overseeing and directing all aspects of the staff accommodation operation under the general guidance and supervision of Human Resources department. The Asst. Housing Manager is responsible to ensure that all team members living in the staff accommodation receive high quality and responsive housing management service in a safe and secure environment, including providing support where necessary. An Assistant Housing Manager will be monitoring the maintenance and facilities issues of the staff accommodation to deliver an excellent staff experience while assisting with employee relations.

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Housing Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Distribute, delegate and direct work load to ensure maximum productivity and team members satisfaction with minimum outlay of expenses. Conduct one-to-one and performance development reviews of the team members, coach and counsel team members when needed. Ensure that all matters relating to staff housing are conducted in accordance with the staff house accommodation policy.
• Assist in social activities and provide ongoing support and follow up in project timelines to be met.
• Involve in hiring and training accommodation team members in proper work procedures and techniques. Communicate effectively to conduct staff and departmental meetings.
• Attend various related meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information. Attend Tm/Kp complaints related to housing operation.
• Assist HR Manager with the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts. Monitor and control budget throughout the year.
• Assist incoming employees and provide accurate information. Greet internal and external customers in a friendly and professional manner and handle requests efficiently.
• Maintain accurate reports of staff house allocation.
• Create and distribute flyers, memos, and newsletters as assigned.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Knowledge of hospitality
• Good knowledge of employment law and employee relations
• Basic Fire and Safety certification
• Basic Life Support certification
