Job Description

An Assistant Housing Manager is responsible for assisting in overseeing and directing all aspects of staff accommodation operations under the guidance of the Human Resources department. The role involves ensuring high-quality, responsive housing management services in a safe and secure environment, monitoring maintenance and facilities, and supporting employee relations.

What will I be doing?
  • Distribute, delegate, and direct workload to ensure productivity and staff satisfaction while managing expenses. Conduct performance reviews, coach, and counsel team members. Ensure compliance with staff housing policies.
  • Assist in organizing social activities and support project timelines.
  • Participate in hiring and training accommodation staff. Conduct staff and departmental meetings effectively.
  • Attend meetings to gather and share pertinent information. Handle housing operation complaints.
  • Assist HR in preparing budgets and forecasts. Monitor and control budgets throughout the year.
  • Provide accurate information to incoming employees. Greet customers professionally and handle requests efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff housing allocations.
  • Create and distribute flyers, memos, and newsletters as assigned.
