Job summary

RAKBANK is seeking a seasoned leader to own the Wealth Management platform lifecycle, ensuring high availability, performance, and regulatory compliance in a banking context. You will drive incident management, disaster recovery, and platform upgrades while shaping a scalable technology roadmap and API strategy.

The role requires 10+ years in Banking/FS tech with at least 5 years in platform management or technology leadership for wealth platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Banking and Financial Services Technology experience.
• Minimum 5 years in platform management, application management, or tech leadership for Wealth Management platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Finacle Wealth, Avaloq, Temenos Wealth, FNZ or similar solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience leading technology teams on business-critical platforms in a banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Own full run-and-change lifecycle of Wealth Management platform for availability and performance.
• Lead platform operations including incident management, monitoring, DR, and continuity planning.
• Manage enhancements, upgrades, integrations, regulatory changes, and tech initiatives.
• Define and maintain platform roadmaps, ensuring scalability and API stability.
• Drive release management, testing, DevOps adoption, and operational resilience.
• Oversee platform performance, infrastructure lifecycle, patching, and vendor relations.
• Establish and govern API frameworks for seamless integration with digital channels.
• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering and operations team.
• Own platform KPIs: uptime, incident reduction, change success rates, SLAs, automation adoption.
• Represent Technology in governance forums and translate business needs into tech solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the full run-and-change lifecycle of the Wealth Management platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Lead platform operations including incident management, system monitoring, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and service improvement.
• Manage platform enhancements, upgrades, integrations, regulatory changes, and strategic technology initiatives.
• Define and maintain platform roadmaps, ensuring scalability, integration readiness, API stability, and alignment with business priorities.
• Drive release management, testing strategies, DevOps adoption, and operational resilience across all platform changes.
• Manage platform performance, infrastructure lifecycle, patching, and vendor relationships.
• Establish and govern API frameworks to enable seamless integration with digital channels and enterprise applications.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers, business analysts, and operations specialists.
• Own platform KPIs including uptime, incident reduction, change success rates, service levels, and automation adoption.
• Represent Technology in business forums, steering committees, and stakeholder discussions, translating business needs into technology solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience within Banking and Financial Services Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in platform management, application management, or technology leadership roles supporting Wealth Management platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with platforms such as Finacle Wealth, Avaloq, Temenos Wealth, FNZ, or similar Wealth Management solutions.
• Deep understanding of Wealth Management products and processes including Portfolio Management, Advisory Services, Investment Products, Client Onboarding, Suitability Assessments, Order Management, and Wealth Operations.
• Proven experience leading technology teams and managing business‑critical platforms in a banking environment.
• Experience with platform integrations, API management, ecosystem connectivity, and vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of platform security, disaster recovery, business continuity, regulatory compliance, release management, and DevOps practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Mandatory experience within Wealth Management technology, investment platforms, portfolio management systems, or digital wealth solutions.
