Job summary

GSSTech Group is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with deep backend expertise in Node.js. The role focuses on Digital Assets, Custody, Tokenization, and Wealth Management platforms within Banking, FinTech, or Financial Services domains.

You will design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices, while applying secure coding practices and unit testing. Blockchain and LLM exposure are advantageous as you contribute to enterprise-grade products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (CS/IT/Engineering).
Strong backend and systems design experience expected.
Experience with Node.js and modern backend architectures beneficial.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong backend engineering expertise in Node.js and hands-on experience working on Digital Assets, Custody, Tokenization, and Wealth Management platforms within Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments.

The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise in building scalable and secure backend systems and have exposure to blockchain technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern enterprise software engineering practices. The candidate will play a key role in designing and developing innovative digital products and data-driven solutions within enterprise banking and wealth management ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend applications using Node.js.
Build and enhance enterprise-grade digital products and platforms related to Wealth Management and Digital Assets.
Develop solutions for Custody, Tokenization, and Blockchain-based financial products and services.
Design and implement high-performance APIs, microservices, and backend services.
Collaborate with product, architecture, security, and engineering teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technology and design decisions.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, unit testing, and technical documentation standards.
Conduct technology research and benchmark modern engineering practices and emerging technologies.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and continuously improve system performance and reliability.
Contribute to the technical roadmap and engineering best practices across the organization.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
