Description
RAKBANK is seeking a proactive and results-driven Associate Vice President - Customer Fulfilment to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and assisting the VP in all Credit operation functions for Business Banking Group customers, ensuring the delivery of efficient, productive, and cost-effective services to internal and external customers by adhering to internal (Operating Procedures) and external (Central Bank) guidelines.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Manage daily credit operation functions of the Business Banking Group, facilitating work processes to ensure alignment with policies and procedures to achieve high performance standards.
2. Authorize all credit-related documentation and manage operational risks within established parameters.
3. Implement standard processes and ensure timely review of credit documentation forms and formats in coordination with group legal.
4. Establish RCSA and conduct regular control testing.
5. Ensure control mechanisms are in place, guidelines are followed, and Operating Procedures are updated.
6. Prevent operational losses due to errors or lapses in controls.
7. Engage with customers and counterparts in other banks to respond to queries and resolve issues.
8. Participate in developing departmental processes and procedures and oversee their implementation.
9. Deliver excellent customer service, addressing areas for improvement to meet service quality standards.
10. Oversee offshore team performance to ensure service and quality standards are met.
11. Develop and maintain relationships with other departments, customers, suppliers, and contractors to support business objectives.
12. Ensure staff are trained, deployed, counseled, and motivated to meet business needs. Actively coach and develop direct reports.
13. Manage recruitment, appraisal, development, and training of team members to ensure performance standards are met.
14. Maintain and update the departmental Business Continuity Plan accessible to all staff.
