Job Summary

Plans electrical projects by determining specifications, selecting contractors, establishing installation schedules, planning shut-downs and installations, integrating architectural and mechanical design specifications, verifying code requirements, and updating cost estimates.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and follow up preventive maintenance schedule for production machinery
• Coordinate and initiate machine improvement
• Procurement of machinery parts
• Ensure safety of oneself and others while carrying out maintenance jobs
• Educate subordinates to develop their skills and knowledge
• Follow and implement all IMS system procedures
• Comply with all related legal requirements
• Attend to machinery breakdowns as they occur
• Carry out other assignments given by superiors
• Take full responsibility for factory safety, health, and environment aspects, ensuring they meet legal requirements
• Liaise with Department Heads on safety, health, and environment matters
• Prioritize SHE programs and ensure effective and consistent implementation
• Provide training and coaching on SHE-related matters to employees, contractors, and transporters
• Maintain SHE documents and provide monthly reports on Lost Time Incidents (LTI) to management
• Investigate SHE-related cases brought to attention
• Coordinate with authorities and ensure timely preparation and submission of reports and documents
• Arrange and participate in safety committee meetings and follow up on action items

KPIs

• Reduce electrical breakdown hours by 5% from last year
• Zero accidents
• Complete all planned CAPEX and improvement activities

Work Experience Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setup

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
