Job description

AECOM is seeking an Associate - Structures professional to lead an engineering design team. The role involves planning (including budgeting), resource management, scheduling, organizing, coordinating, and executing design work on projects of all scales. The Associate will interact regularly with an Associate Director or senior team members.

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Manage engineering design, BIM model, and drawing production.
  2. Ensure design brief compliance, completeness, and accuracy.
  3. Coordinate design efforts within engineering and across disciplines.
  4. Oversee design delivery, ensuring compliance, coordination, completeness, and accuracy.
  5. Perform self-checks of work products before submission.
  6. Guide, manage, and mentor team members.
  7. Engage with clients, lead project teams, and participate in value engineering.
  8. Lead verification processes.

Qualifications & Minimum Requirements

  • At least 12 years of post-undergraduate experience.
  • B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Civil or Structural Engineering with international accreditation (e.g., MIstructE or equivalent).
  • Required: Local Authority Engineer registration.
