• To assist in facilitating Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Product Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, release planning, and other team activities to coordinate delivering ongoing DTS agile projects.

Job Description

Role: Associate Scrum Master

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:

• Assist in facilitating Agile ceremonies such as Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, Retrospectives, and release planning.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure Scrum process adherence and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
• Promote team self-organization and empowerment.
• Facilitate Retrospectives and suggest process improvements.
• Prepare for planning sessions with effective Backlog refinement.
• Support the team in removing impediments.
• Participate in organizational Agile activities.
• Support automation and process improvements within the team.
• Assist Product Owner with Backlog management and refinement.
• Identify and coordinate dependencies with other teams.
• Support sprint reviews, milestone tracking, and collaboration with related departments.
• Understand the software and product development lifecycle.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of Scrum and Agile practices.
• Basic knowledge of software development and project management.
• Understanding of banking environment projects/releases.
• Effective communication skills to address issues and blockers.

Experience:

• Recent graduates or early-career professionals with project management or Agile background.
• Interest in digital innovation and financial technology.
• Motivated to contribute to digital experiences in a fintech landscape.
