Job summary

LutechResources in Dubai is seeking an Associate Quality Inspector to support inspection activities under supervision, using established procedures to verify conformity to customer specifications.

You will assist in determining conformity, document inspection results, and coordinate with operations to resolve non-conformities, following the Project Quality Plan.

The role requires a high school diploma or degree, 2+ years in quality control, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or degree in relevant field of study.
• 2+ years of quality control or discipline-related experience in Inspection.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Quality Inspector/Quality inspector in determining product conformity to customer specifications through independent inspections, daily surveillances, and tests by the Project Quality Plan.
• Identify non-conformity for rectification and ensure final resolution.
• Assist the Senior Quality Inspector/Quality Inspector in appraising product quality to determine conformity and non-conformity in accordance to the approved drawings and inspection & test plan.
• All inspection results need to be documented, and if non-conformity exists, documentation shall be raised to establish corrective action.
• Assist the Senior Quality Inspector /Quality Inspector in coordinating the interface with operations, Certifying Authority, Client, Job Sharing, personnel, and subcontractor, assuring the conformity to project specifications.
• Assist the Senior Quality Inspector/Quality Inspector in performing field inspections by project specifications and scope of work as noted within the Project Quality Plan/ITPs.
• Assist the Senior Quality Inspector/Quality Inspector in confirming adherence to applicable procedures and plans by effective audit and surveillance.

Job Overview

The Associate Quality Inspector can utilize existing inspection procedures to solve routine or standard problems. They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team, and they will leverage their conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to inspection and quality.
