Role Summary

We are looking for an Associate Quality Assurance to join our team and focus on inspecting fresh produce at our own grocery store, tMart. tMart is the region's first cloud store concept, offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has rapidly expanded across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, and Iraq!

What’s On Your Plate

1. Read blueprints and instructions to understand quality expectations for fresh produce products.
2. Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications, etc.).
3. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform accurate measurements.
4. Analyze test results and inspection data to identify deviations or nonconformities.
5. Report inspection findings and recommend corrective actions.
6. Follow established quality assurance procedures and protocols.
7. Build and maintain secure relationships with store employees and managers.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a quality inspector or in a relevant role within the fresh produce industry (retail or distribution).
2. Knowledge of produce quality inspection techniques and procedures.
3. Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
4. Understanding of QA/QC principles.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspections.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
7. Good communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
8. Ability to make decisions, work independently, and communicate clearly and effectively.
9. Fluent in English and Arabic.
