Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories provides complete power system protection, control, monitoring, automation, security, and integration solutions for utilities and industries worldwide. We are seeking a Project Controller III to offer technical support to our customers.

A successful candidate should have knowledge and experience in transmission and distribution systems, power system protection, relay testing and commissioning, and familiarity with procedures related to power system protection, settings, testing, and SEL products. Typical responsibilities of a PC III include:

1. Auditing the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects against established processes.
2. Leading the planning and coordination of activities across multiple projects with project teams, customers, and subcontractors.
3. Monitoring project costs, schedules, deliverables, quality, and performance objectives, and providing timely progress reports to management.
4. Assisting with environmental, health, and safety planning, maintaining a safe workplace, safety awareness and training, conducting accident investigations, and implementing safe work practices.
5. Ensuring compliance with project procedures and maintaining document control.
6. Applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 10+ years supporting project work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
• Strong written, documentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
