Responsibilities
  • Assist in the verification, authorisation and follow-up of the release of repaired/screened UAEFTS/Swift payments received via electronic channels in line with the CBUAE and Swift requirements to ensure service levels are met
  • Support the review, authorisation or rejection of the swift messages in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures in order to mitigate any financial and reputational risk arising from processing errors or unsanctioned transactions
  • Assist in the performance of reconciliation of respective General Ledger (GL) accounts, messages, or payment statuses and acknowledgements in a timely manner in order to mitigate any adverse financial impact on the customer as well as the Bank arising from unsettled entries, delays, processing errors or system issues
  • Provide care and diligence in the conduct of day to day activities to protect the Department from financial and non-financial loss to ensure that best practice is shared and promoted
  • Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders
  • Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own contribution to business performance
  • Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of Banking experience with at least 1 year of experience in centralized remittances or payments processing area
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
