Job summary

CrossBoundary is recruiting an Associate to join the MENA region Advisory team in Dubai, UAE. You will work with a diverse set of clients across finance, development, and government sectors, evaluating investment opportunities and supporting deal execution.

The role requires 2–7 years of experience in investment banking, consulting or private equity, strong analytical skills, and willingness to travel within the MENACA region. Arabic is an advantage; relocation to Dubai may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

CrossBoundary is recruiting an Associate to join the MENA region Advisory team. We are seeking candidates with extensive experience living and working in the MENA Region, with strong contacts across the region’s financial services sector, and a thorough understanding of the investment landscape.

Your primary responsibilities would be:

• Drive day-to-day project execution on workstreams including:
• Identifying and evaluating investment opportunities
• Conduct market, sector, and investment analysis to inform strategic decision-making
• Identifying and engaging with qualified regional and international investors
• Support the development of strategies for governments, development partners, foundations, translating strategic objectives into clear priorities, initiatives, and actionable implementation plans
• Support the firm’s business development efforts in the MENA regionby:
• Performing market assessments and identify key potential clients and partners within regional markets
• Developing strategies for using CrossBoundary services to drive value for these potential clients
• Working closely with CrossBoundary leadership on developing partnerships and pursuing new business opportunities in regional markets
• Support on transaction advisory engagements by:
• Supporting or often leading complex commercial due diligence assignments
• Performing market research and developing client-facing recommendations
• Providing value-creation recommendations for post investment strategy
  Advising on the structuring and deploying of blended finance vehicles

Who you are

• Self-starter who is passionate about creating lasting change in underserved markets
• Takes on new types of work, even without prior experience/direct supervision
• Willingness to work, travel, and live in a sometimes-challenging environment
• High tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to operate effectively in a changing context
• Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues in stressful environments
• Excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences
• 2-7 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity or similar
• Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage but not a requirement

Candidates will join our team in Dubai, UAE. This role will involve travel across theMENACA Region.
