Job summary

Mastercard Cross Border Solutions in Dubai seeks an Analyst, Account Management to drive client engagements, shape product go-to-market strategies and lead successful launches in the UAE. You will coordinate with global product teams and manage sales from conception to scale while building strong client relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, experience in cross-border remittances or related fintech, and fluency in English; Arabic is a plus, and UAE-based candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in cross-border remittances space with money transfer operators, FinTechs or telcos is desirable.
  • Understanding of bilateral/correspondent banking for B2B and P2P payments is essential.
  • Exposure to mobile money or card payment industry would be advantageous.
  • Experience in sales/business development from conception to scale is desirable.
  • UAE-based candidates with market experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meet volume and scale objectives for Mastercard Cross Border Solutions in the UAE by shaping the product to go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner with global and regional product teams to understand capabilities and address market needs.
  • Lead client engagements to communicate product strategy, innovation and business-building plans.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Communications and other teams to ensure successful product launches and budgets are utilized.
  • Oversee end-to-end service implementation with new customers: due diligence, contract and commercial negotiations, financial setup, rollout.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to build strategic intelligence for Mastercard and customers.
  • Develop strong internal relationships to differentiate Mastercard Cross Border Solutions from competition.

Company description

In the last few years, Mastercard has developed products in the cross-border payments space, “Mastercard Cross Border Solutions” products. we have established partnerships with entities active in the cross-border payments. We are looking to scale those partnerships and to establish more.

The candidate will be part of the “Mastercard Cross Border Solutions” sales team and will demonstrate the initiative and ownership as an individual contributor, raise the bar and challenge the boundaries to corner new payment flows using Mastercard Cross Border Solutions product.

Key accountabilities

The candidate will ensure that Mastercard Cross Border Solutions product strategy is implemented in close alignment to market objectives and deliver commercial product launches and success.

Key areas of responsibilities include:

  • Meet the volume and scale objectives for Mastercard Cross Border Solutions in United Arab Emirates by shaping and aligning the product to the go-to-market strategies
  • Partner with global and regional product teams to understand product capabilities, provide inputs to ensure market needs are addressed, synergize with other initiatives and ensure ongoing coordination for smooth operation of the product in market
  • Lead client engagements to communicate product strategy, innovation, business building strategies and ensuring sign ups
  • Engage Marketing, Communications and other colleagues to support the successful launch of products and ensure optimum visibility and utilization of budgets and investments on the product
  • Coordinating (at internal and customer level) the end-to-end implementation of the service with new customers: due diligence process, contract and commercial negotiations, financial set-up, service roll-out…
  • Managing complex analyses using data from multiple sources, in order to build strategic intelligence for both Mastercard and customers
  • Supporting and developing strong internal relationships within the Mastercard to enable all team members to achieve their business goals and differentiate Mastercard Cross Border Solutions product from the competition
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant experience in cross border remittances space with leading money transfer operators, FinTech’s, Telcos etc
  • A keen understanding of bilateral / correspondent banking for B2B and P2P payments
  • Exposure to mobile money/card payment industry would be an added advantage
  • Experience in managing Sales, Business Development from conception to scale is desirable
  • United Arab Emirates based candidates preferred with relevant market experience and vintage
