Associate Manager - Supply Chain | MAF Retail | UAE Corporate Head Office

Role Overview

The Associate Manager – Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing daily operational tasks related to inbound/outbound shipments process for Retail Discount.

Responsibilities:
  1. Control the product management tools to be implemented accurately and follow-up with the 3rd party if all necessary information has been uploaded.
  2. Communicate with suppliers regarding changes in their product packaging, ingredients, and barcodes.
  3. Provide KPIs for all inspection reports.
  4. Coordinate with suppliers on documentation and inbound/outbound process requirements.
  5. Verify shipment documents for completeness according to customs and local municipality requirements.
  6. Update and control the database for Retail Discount (Price-PCB-Activate/delist based on supplier instructions and merchandise approval).
  7. Ensure database countries match with hub database.
  8. Follow up on claims with countries and suppliers.
  9. Schedule orders for regular and seasonal merchandise with suppliers, 3PL, and other stakeholders.
  10. Consolidate and submit orders as needed.
  11. Maintain MOQ per order/supplier.
  12. Compare order volume and value with forecasts and share insights with the commercial team.
  13. Monitor SL per order per country, address reasons for non-delivery, and take corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications/Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or relevant field.
  • Experience in retail/logistics operations within a retail store, hypermarket, or logistics provider.
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
