Job description

Associate Manager Global Public Relations

The Opportunity: We are looking for an Associate Manager, Global Public Relations to join our dynamic team within Agoda's Marketing department. In this role, you'll help shape Agoda's global presence through proactive communication, resulting in earned media coverage. Our PR team oversees around 10 managed markets in APAC, supports verticals to share the Agoda story, and protects Agoda's reputation as a trusted and innovative brand.

What you will do:

  • Draft effective press releases for distribution globally, regionally, or in specific markets.
  • Continuously deliver against challenging KPIs.
  • Manage in-market PR agencies, ensuring alignment with Agoda's targets, messaging house, and tone of voice.
  • Respond to global media inquiries and maintain the Agoda press office.
  • Provide input for the Agoda global team, drafting pitches, media briefings, Q&As, and generating campaign ideas.
  • Manage and counsel stakeholders throughout Agoda who require PR support.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Creative thinking and an all-round team attitude.
  • Minimum of five years of PR experience in traditional and digital teams, preferably in both agency and in-house settings.
  • Strong storytelling experience aimed at consumer audiences.
  • Experience with an integrated approach to PR (content, social media, influencers, media partnership, etc.).
  • Strong media contacts.
  • Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Crisis and issues management experience is a plus.
  • Quick thinking, trend spotting, and opportunity exploitation skills.
  • Project management experience and ability to manage creative and production resources.
  • Experience working within a matrix organization across multiple markets and influencing stakeholders.
  • Budget management skills.
  • Ability to measure content impact for future improvement.
  • Confidence in presenting projects and learnings to senior leaders.
