Job summary

Parsons in Dubai is seeking an Associate Highway Engineer to join our team of professionals. You will contribute to major infrastructure projects, learning under a world-class group while building your engineering skills in road design and analyses.

Under close supervision you will rotate through project controls and procurement, gain exposure to CAD applications, and be ready to relocate to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Internship or work experience in civil design/engineering.
• Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or related field.
• Familiarity with CAD and PC software.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway design and analysis tasks within the road discipline.
• Develop under supervision in engineering theories and practices.
• Rotational program exposure to Project Controls, Procurement, and Construction Management.
• Some assignments involve CAE/CAD applications.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to sites.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Highway Engineer to join our team!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support some of the region's biggest infrastructure projects working alongside a world-class team of engineers!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform a variety of highway engineering duties by applying basic engineering techniques for road and highway design and analyses within road discipline
• The Highway Engineer at this level is in a developmental mode, being trained under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, and gaining exposure to Company procedures
• Assignment may be to a structured rotational program which would include experience in Project Controls, Procurement, and Construction Management, as well as through several disciplines in Engineering
• Some assignments involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications
• Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Internship or work experience in civil design/engineering
• Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
• Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
