Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the highway engineering design team and review ongoing project work
• Develop, check, and approve engineering drawings, reports, and technical specifications
• Support the Design Manager with allocation of engineering tasks and workload planning
• Contribute technical input to proposal development and bid support activities
• Monitor daily progress of project deliverables and ensure adherence to schedules
• Conduct detailed engineering and design reviews for highway and infrastructure schemes
• Develop and review highway alignments, layouts, and key geometric design elements

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering from a recognized university
• Minimum 13 years of experience in major highway and infrastructure design projects
• Strong design knowledge of UAE authority standards and relevant international codes
• Proven ability to lead and manage highway design teams
• High proficiency in highway design software including Civil 3D and Bentley InRoads or OpenRoads
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical report writing skills in English
• Strong understanding of best engineering practices and quality management in design delivery
