Job Purpose

As a key contributor to our dynamic Group Legal department, you will play an essential role in supporting a wide range of legal and administrative functions. Your keen attention to detail will ensure all documentation is precise and reliable. By conducting thorough research, expertly managing legal documents, and coordinating seamlessly with internal teams, you’ll help drive the department’s efficiency and responsiveness.

In this position, you will be instrumental in enabling Modon Holding and its Group companies to receive timely, accurate, and impactful legal support—helping shape the future of our organization.

Roles, Responsibilities, Duties

Legal Research and Documentation

  • Conduct thorough legal research on various topics as directed.
  • Prepare, review, and manage legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
  • Assist in drafting legal memos, opinions, and reports for internal use.

Governance, Compliance, Risk and Regulatory Support

  • Support in monitoring changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure Modon Holding’s compliance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing compliance programs.
  • Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reports.
  • Support in management of risk and related workstreams.
  • Support on governance workstreams.

Contract Management & Procurement

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of contracts and ensure timely renewals and amendments.
  • Support for monitoring contract compliance.
  • Support in liaising with procurement colleagues on procurement contracting.

Administrative and Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and managing correspondence.
  • Assist in organizing and managing legal files, both physical and electronic.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and manage the logistics of legal proceedings.
  • Professionally screen calls, inquiries, and requests.

IP, Litigation and Dispute Resolution Support

  • Assist in managing IP matters (both contentious and non-contentious)
  • Assist in managing litigation and dispute resolution processes.
  • Support preparing and organizing documents for litigation cases, including discovery materials and court filings.

Stakeholder Communication and Coordination & Adhoc legal support (Employment, Tax, Finance)

  • Support by facilitating effective communication between the legal department and other business units.
  • Support the legal team in preparing presentations and reports for senior management.
  • Support in provision of adhoc legal advice to various stakeholders (such as HR, taxation, and operations).

Structuring/Restructuring/Integration

  • Support the legal team across all structuring and restructuring workstreams.
  • Support the legal team in integration of assets and new business into the Modon Group

Experience & Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in a legal role. 2 years’ experience (at least) in UAE.
