Job Description:

Associate Electrical Engineer

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Electrical Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to perform a variety of engineering duties by applying basic engineering techniques and analyses within the electrical discipline.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Provide support in preparing electrical engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, designs, specifications, data sheets, Bill of Quantities and other construction documents.
2. Carry out designs of Electrical Power distribution systems and prepare electrical LV Designs, using ETAP software.
3. Lighting designs for indoor, outdoor applications using Dialux, and AGI32 software.
4. Prepare Power cable sizing calculations using industry software.
5. Support to carry out electrical Load Flow Study, Short Circuit analysis, and Earthing design using industry standard software like ETAP.
6. Support to prepare telecom network and MCC Network.
7. Design Fire alarm and Life safety systems and shall be conversant with NFPA as well as Local Civil Defense Regulations.
8. Prepare and Analyze BIM models using tools like CIVIL 3D & NAVISWORKS.
9. Support team to resolve clashes generated in the NAVISWORKS.
10. Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters.
11. Support in preparing and delivering detailed technical reports and presentations for the Clients.
12. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

3. Experience of working in Civil 3D & Navisworks.
4. Extensive experience of working with Dialux and AGI 32 software.
5. Basic Knowledge on Protection coordination and setting of LV & MV Networks.
6. Excellent Communication and Presentation skills.
7. Must be a UAE National
