Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process reinsurance documentation including slips, endorsements, and cover notes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of placements and client correspondence, through proper recordkeeping.
- Coordinate with reinsurers, clients, and internal departments for follow-ups and information gathering.
- Assist in compiling and analysing data for renewal strategies and client reports.
- Assist in preparing reinsurance placement strategies & engage in market negotiations and client meetings as needed.
- Analyse client portfolios, loss histories, and underwriting information to structure optimal solutions.
- Build relationships with reinsurers and clients, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.
- Support the drafting and placement of reinsurance contracts and documentation.
- Monitor market trends and pricing movements to assist in advisory services.
- Collaborate with broker support staff to ensure timely and accurate administrative processing.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Prior experience in insurance or administrative roles preferred.
- Interest in developing market-facing and client advisory skills.
